so now he has no objections to killing the enemy soldiers yet before he knocked them out and didn't even go and kill the enemy prince that was in the castle.
he says he doesn't want a part in the war yet he's wanted by the empire, he's invaded the imperial occupied capital and rescued the king and destroyed several forts on the way yet he thinks he can just bail and nothing will happen to him? he's already right in the middle of the war and he refuses to help the only side that wants the same things as him.

also didn't he want revenge against the empire for summoning him and throwing him away?

@Mikoo321 @kursedkaiju He's still hesitant to fight the Hero, if he can't beat him then they'll still lose. He can't really just leave though, he's now a major threat to the naz- I mean, empire so they'll definitely be looking for him.
@Doomer He didn't kill them in the castle because he needed to be stealthy and quick, he couldn't cause a big commotion and his magic was blocked, so he'd only be able to use his sword against hundreds of soldiers that would've been sent to stop him, at least until he got out of the dungeons where the magic cancelling thing was. You're right about him not being able to just bail, but he doesn't want to fight the Hero if he isn't sure that he has a chance to win, he hasn't seen how strong he is after all.

@Leo80221 killing someone is a lot easier and quicker than knocking someone out and it has 0% chance of them waking up and raising an alarm. as for his magic yea it's blocked only in the dungeon so as soon as he was on the first floor of the castle he would be back to 100% of his fighting power
