I know this will sound weird, but I respect the fuck out of this manga for acknowledging boners. Usually they're either nonexistent, played up to absurdity, or of course in hentai. There's something wholesome about this manga, and a male teen trying to furiously contain his boner only makes it more realistic and thus wholesome, IMO.
