It does feel like the other shoe is about to drop. That being said, I think its fine that Chihiro is meeting his Grandmother. Its possible that the woman has changed and I think that Chihiro has the right to make up his own mind about her. Though because of the type of manga this is, I'm sure she'll screw it up.
