I remember trying to read the raws a couple years ago because I was so intrigued by the story. My attempts at trying to read ahead of the scanslation uploads at the time was rewarded with more confusion about the story’s plot. (•~•)

The thing that baffles me the most is the age of the protagonist. At 11, my head was full of DBZ, big robots and some other kids stuff. But here, the MC is some kind of a cynical kid who wants to be unique. It wasn't until 16 that I was able to have the same kind of thoughts. Almost. Rather precocious I must say.

Well a twist like that kind of foils his entire plan, then. Since she basically is immortal until she reaches the age of 12, and she's older than him, there's no way he can just kill her and take the fame

The fact that these are kids does not somehow make this premise more interesting. The fact that this child is supposed to be evil does not make him any more intriguing and any less revolting. There are examples of interesting insufferable people and there are examples of dull, rather boringly insufferable people. Frankly, most insufferable people are not unique and to imagine any as such certainly takes more creativity and cleverness than this.
