I have to say it is rather unimaginative for her to not realize there are uses for that potion even if the effects are so short, all you need to do is make sure the user gets another dose of it before it runs out. Again, i'm not an expert, but i don't think it's that simple. Demand is not fixed, more supply may increase demand, or even decrease it. Could collapse the market even. Not to mention the flow of currency is going to be upturned if he continue to accumulate a lot more money. Yes, he can live quite well now, but I seriously doubt he will stay at only this level of absurdness.
