the fucking pacing in this is so shit, nothing flows in this story, it's all just randomly shoved into different places without care, how did MC even get here? last chapter we followed the other girl fighting the dungeon boss and now we randomly have MC fighting ice wolves somewhere and being saved by some commander. how? why?

@Doomer I think mc still in the same place he was when he saved the little girl.. Some older woman came running towards him crying out for help as she was being chased by the wolves.. Then it cut to the two girls side story which probably was taking place at the exact time the mc killing the orcs was taking place and now we're back from where the author left the mc.

Why is Fenrir always the name of all the wolves...isn't Fenrir the name of one wolf in mythical stories or is there another story.

@krispy no idea why these author is so easy to throw in the name of a wolf that appears in literally HUGE event called Ragnarok. it would make sense if the said wolf is an incarnation of disaster or OP shits but to give a legendary name to a random wolf? it's just lazy writing at this point.

@dezaki @krispy it's a reference to older rpgs made in Japan. Some used Fenrir as a shout out to Norse mythology, and now Japanese media nearly always uses Fenrir due to the popularity, similar to how many western monsters use names made popular by things like Dungeons and Dragons.

@Dezaki You must be new to manga, or the fantasy genre at least. Fenrir is quite popular for being used as a supernatural wolf. It would appear the mangas takes alot from mythological legends when it comes to fantasy.
I would of preferred Dire Wolves, but I dont get my panties in a knot from using Fenrirs.
