Besides that, what about Kinebuchi's baby (#4) that he had shortly before going into cryostatis with his wife? (chapter 44) I guess that part will get covered in part 2 along with all of the other plot points that were brought up and then dropped, such as Reito's brother who was confirmed to be a number and Doi's teacher/first lover who was sequestered and protected by Karen. There are far too many plot threads in this story and I doubt a second season will be able to successfully pull everything together.

@Abedeus Akane is a surgeon as well as general practice doctor. Maria, Elisa, and Reito are all practiced in internal medicine. I would also imagine that the Izanami village has someone trained in field medicine considering how they drugged Zen and Karen also knows a specialist since she was the one who had Doi physically modified. Of course Karen was too busy having an orgasm about getting Hino's final moment on camera to bother with attempting to assist in saving him.

This series is not a good series and never has been. It's wholly ridiculous from beginning to end, with extremely weak characterization across the board. In fact, the most well-roundes character in the entire series is the one that got killed off in this chapter.

Both *Fantasia* and *Britannia Lumière*, despite their own shortcomings, are easily more coherent and less deeply silly than this nonsense has been.
