SHY - Vol. 3 Ch. 19 - Don't Call Me an Alcoholic

So you're telling me,the girl is not a past version of Pepesha but a younger version of her mom ? Wonder how Stigma done that.

W-Who said that?
Me!

LO/ she's lovely.

We actually have a real Russian masked hero, you know? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-8gsWZqDBM very educational

I don't get what's going on anymore :p time travel? clone?

They've spent a lot of time talking about how Stigma's heart is inherently childish, back in chapter 17. And now in this chapter, we learn how much different people were from when they were children to when they grow up, and how cold Pepesha's mother was.

It kinda makes sense that he's using whatever special powers he has to bring some part of people's childish existence to life. Either way, some power to mess with people's hearts has got to be one of the most frightening and villainous powers around.

oh so almost everything clicks into place now

also the last page is so friggin amazing

Whoa I Honestly didn't expect that unless somehow her mother corrupted, died, taken away or just gone which never got mentioned at all.

Oh god please dont die, I think either pepesh gona die or the girl who took care of her will OTL that casualty counter we had a while back is probably gona be used for this moment OTL I swear if fucking pepesh dies I'ma rage/cry so dam hard

@Xaelath Well, she had to have a reason to drop Pepesha off at the orphanage to begin with. It hasn't been explicitly explained what happened to her but it's obvious something happened to her at some point.

This is so Russian it hurts.

I'm half expecting a shirtless Putin riding a bear with an AK-47 on the Siberian Mountains to appear with the Soviet Nation Anthem playing.

Poor Natalia, she was one of the unlucky ones and I guess she was 17 in that photo. Though liquor can seriously speed up aging when you drink often and get drunk often too for many years. Curse for all and the reasons for why some drink so much varies place to place, but its sad

@Tamerlane Алло? Seriously? I think it would actually less cringy if author tried to incorporate some of those stereotypes.
