Silver Plan to Redo From JK - Vol. 2 Ch. 7 - Difference in Readiness

Her dad remind me of my trash dad, oh well.. I shouldn't call that fcking trash moron dad again upsy ..

I should have expected this looks-like-a-road-to-redemption-but-psyche-not-there-yet-maybe-one-day development, as it is incredibly common in both fiction and real life.

Having one addiction is enough to earn some sympathy from me since I’ve been down that dark path in the past before, but two; drinking and gambling...that’s a little much. And it may be worse depending on the status of her mother, whether she’s still sick or already passed away. Hell, I’d even ask the loan sharks to rough him up some more if I were the daughter.

Don’t remember the girl’s name, but I’m rooting for the tsundere rival classmate to make friends with her.

Why does Shiraishi and her friends keep looking at Ogami like that. Like bitch what do you want with him. Is she angry at him for not being her bitch anymore. Or is she mad at him that he is friends with the mc and she is not? IDK. She kinda makes m mad. Im pretty sure she will catch feeling for Ogami too. He needs to stay away from that bitch.

Dad doesn't have to be completely addicted. Stress addiction to alcohol, stress and alcohol combined to impair judgement - "wouldn't it be great for my daughter if I simply used this money to win the rest of the debt through horse racing", then once that "plan" fell through, he boozed up again out of shame and stress.

(This is a best case scenario, mind you.)

Oh god...I was so happy that she was trying to reconcile with her dad even if it didnt line up with what I would do or with what I thought was realistic...but seriously this is sad. The dad shouldn't have. He shouldnt have.

Feels bad man. When I was younger I dated this Korean girl. Found out that her mom would blow all her money from her job on gambling and had to use my girlfriend's paycheck to cover their rent. There are even a couple times that she used my girlfriend's money to go gamble and lose it all as well. Really sad to see parents this deep into their addictions that they make their children suffer and even support their addictions.

I like how easy it is to hate the teacher. He's putting all the blame on the MC and not reflecting on his own damn actions at all. Also I like that Maki gets a very small glimmer of "Something's not right with this girl" (in a "concerned" fashion that is) when she watches Sayuri begin to have a mental break down and shiver in utter terror when up against the debt collectors.
