Sincerely: I Became a Duke's Maid - Vol. 1 Ch. 32

I'm seriously getting tired of her oblivious side. I would love for her to notice even a bit, just A BIT. Goodness

I understand the butler and head maid are probably concerned about appearances, but why are they surprised that the dude would be so attached to MC when she was the only one who showed him any affection or kindness while he was cursed?

As dense as MC is, the other characters aren't far behind.

I see conflict coming in the future.

Also I understand people getting frustrated over Ibee’s obliviousness, but look at it from her point of view. She thinks of him as a little kid. He doesn’t even register as a potential candidate for her. And he’s always been a bit possessive of her since she was the only one who paid attention to him, so she thinks that said possessiveness is just simply getting worse.

@Gaiseric9
I can understand their point. Yes, of course he would favor the maid that helped him at his darkest hour, but they live in an aristocratic society and he's a Duke. He is expected to marry into nobility, so having a crush on a lowly maid is a red flag. Just allowing that level of familiarity is bad enough. I wouldn't be surprised if they conspire to have her kicked out.

Of course, they're overlooking an important fact: with his father dead, he's the head of the household. There's no one above him to force him into an arranged marriage, and he can always override their decisions. Even if his marriage to a maid may turn him into a social pariah, I don't think he'll mind at all.

Roast Ibelina as much as you want, her realization of finding a new job is spot on with all the drama she's heading into.

@misticsan that's actually true. Since Alejandro himself doesn't care about rumors and such, and there have been cases of Noblemen uplifting commoner women they find to love back in old times and other stories, the least he'll suffer is probably some gossip and bad rumors behind his back and probably the only ones who would probably force him to marry into other nobility is the King of the country himself or does his mother also have that authority?

I really do think a lot of this is Ibelina's fault. I can't tell if she's just dense, or if she's trying to dodge his advances, but if it's the latter she's doing a shit job at it. She needs to actually confront him on these issues, rather than poorly skirting around is questions and advances.

Alehandro my child! YoU aRe MaKinG MY HeART ExPLODE!!! Side note: I freaking love this couple. 😘They're so cute together.

Yeah sure. You go ahead and do that. She isn't doing anything worth reprimanding to the point of it being frustrating, and if you actually impose any consequences on her, the young master is going to flip out.

I can't really fault Alejandro's mom for fooling around with another man when it's been made exceedingly clear that her marriage wasn't one, but it is kinda shitty of her to dump all work on her son to fool around in luxury all day. I sure hope he puts her on a budget or something.

Yeah...warning my ass. That's a one-way ticket to the firing squad (literally and figuratively) so I wouldn't do that if I were you.

@Psychronia - Yes, please! So glad Alejandro didn't treat her so kindly after she tried to reconnect with him. What kind of good mother would dump all her work on a 15-year old boy who had just recovered from a curse AND a really bad case of emotional neglect and malnutrition? Dude...that is messed up.
