@Siquall - Sorry to say this but Head Maid Elaine has been there since the very beginning. Go back and reread chapter 2, Ibee first mentions her to Ann the thief maid. And her first in person introduction is in chapter 6 when she personally tells Ibee she's been reassigned to Ale as his main maid. She always been there, she was never brought in during that fuss, just reassigned to the main house. So the truth is, yes she never did anything to help him when he was cursed but did a complete turn around the minute he's cured, all in the name of protecting the Duke's family name. That's why I see her as a hypocrite. Because she doesn't see Ale as a human being with feelings but as a person whose attached to a title with great power whom she's currently serving with his best interest. It's debatable whether she did them both a favor by separating but that still doesn't forgive her for acting as though she's the righteous one when not once has she even consider either of their feelings on the matter as human beings instead of just as titles, like Duke and Maid. That's what bothers me! They're human beings before they are titles!

... if you not.... I WILL

sometimes when i remember that people ship them together because like... that his caretaker! she raised him! you mean to tell me that this happening in real life is frowned upon but because its in the story its alright? like thats really the thinking of some people here. he needs real, actual psychological help because hes shelled himself off from any sort of meaningful interaction with other people (though of no fault of his own) and thats dangerous. thats why hes like that!
