Sincerely: I Became a Duke's Maid - Vol. 1 Ch. 9

Fun fact: it's actually "the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb", and referred to the bonds of soldiers having been through battle together being tighter than the bonds of family. So... Found family can be stronger than blood relationships.

QED, it's absolutely true.

@icarushector While I prefer that version myself, someone corrected me on it not long ago. It seems that’s just another falsehood that’s been spread on the internet. The original phrase really is just blood is thicker than water.

@kanedian @QueenKumQuat was trying to figure out what the water in the idiom actually referred to and ended up on Wikipedia, and found that although the interpretation I cited is one brought up by people more recently (not just Tumblr or whatnot) there is a similar idiom stating that blood is thicker than milk. Which is interesting.

I wonder what the doctor is feeding him as a medicine. Probably mercury, arsenic, and other delicious things.

Shoddy parents aside, he's finally going dere on her, and it is precious. =w=

Hopefully nothing bad happens while she's gone.

These parents are so despicable omg

Thank goodness for the cute moments for countering my irritation
