Karkeys: Sad state of affairs where you need to include a side note like that, I guess critical thinking is lax nowadays.

@Karkeys I don't know, without the QC note bringing me back to reality just by reading this chapter I would have been convinced that I was an aristocrat in a fantasy world, downed a glass of beer, then grabbed onto the nearest person's hand and started licking their fingers with abandon thinking all was right with the world. Now I know that such thinking would have been mistaken and such actions not right. Phew! It just shows how necessary these notes are to teach people what is reality and acceptable and what is fiction and unacceptable behavior in the real world. I'm sure insane asylums and prisons the world over are full of those who didn't get lucky enough to have such things spelt out for them each time. There but for the grace of the QC note go I.
