To be fair, even as rare as they are, I used to hunt metal slimes like crazy back in my Dragon Quest days. They're crammed full of easy experience. She definitely saved him from some greedy hunters.

What DoubleA said is true. I think a lot of people thought the same. "It's dangerous to be a metal slime, adventurers would kill him without a second thought for XP".
