Slime Taoshite 300-nen, Shiranai Uchi ni Level MAX ni Nattemashita - Vol. 2 Ch. 11 - The Dragon's Great Dispute (part 1)

@Magaso
...I'm saying that the situation itself is simply odd. It'd be like saying you should love your abusive parents, because they technically brought you into existence.

@GodGinrai
I'm pretty sure the MC told her something along the lines of: "Don't lose hope, perk up that chest of yours. Continue to aim for the day you can defeat me".

@Solipsist Your paraphrase is a bit off, she actually said something along the lines of "it's a good thing I'm still alive, otherwise you'd lose your meaning of life". Then, after that, the sister convinced her to find a new meaning of life here:

@GodGinrai
...You made me check.
Take a look at the previous page of what you sent. I quoted the MC from that moment.
But, you're not wrong either, because the other slime pretty much convinced her to drop the case.

So while it's not as bad as I recall it, the situation is remains the same for me. It's as awkward and strange as it always was.

Fruchttorte (What a nice name. BTW: A Torte is a torte. It's not your standard dry fruitcake. A torte is more like a birthday or even wedding cake, with tons of cream and calories.)....So Fruchttorte should get herself laid by a red dragon. Get rid of her frustration and the feud.

@Solipsist I'm aware of exactly where you were quoting. I told you that your paraphrase was off because you interpreted "you can aim for revenge as long as I'm alive" as "[Do] Continue to aim for the day you can defeat me." which implies you saw her comments as an imperative command as opposed to as a means to indicate that she has the ability to continue chasing after her meaning of life.

I won't say it's not strange that she treats them like children, because calling something that was an indirect cause of their creation a mother seems odd. But since the author chose to do it, I just allowed my believe to be suspended. I mean, it's not like the author's reasoning doesn't make a lick of sense. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

just waking up anger of the strongest witch and Beelzebub... good job blue dragon... good job...

i'm not sure if someone mentioned this already but, I just noticed the dragons have unique patterns on their horns. Just FYI if anyone else was having trouble telling apart the dragons.

wait isn't Fruchttorte literally...."fruit tart"? "fruit cake"?

that has got to be one of the least intimidating dragon names i've ever heard

I like her name as witch of the plateau more than her name in the other translation as witch of the highlands.

oh, those blue dragons are going to get literally shit on then Beelzebub will eat said shit

Well, calling a Dragonlady the german word for fruit tart is... intresting... :D
