Slow Motion wo Mou Ichido - Vol. 5 Ch. 40 - Second Love

Methinks Yakushimaru is feeling embarrassed...

Aside from that, thanks to @fodderchara18, we have another chapter for you relatively quickly.

That was enjoyable.
Just as a guess, do they solve the problem here by setting their movement to horror movie themes and choreographing it as a dance?

WAIT WAIT WAIT... Was this whole chapter just them trying to hug? lol ok

I really do like the author's art, I'm looking forward to reading "Kanojo wa Kyou mo Katazukanai" as well.

I'd like to contribute some thoughtful discussion to the comments section, but I spent the entire 20 pages squealing "I ship it" at my screen.

I think I need help.

@givemersspls I feel you. It feels like they're just going around in circles and all the time they've spent together, doing things together in previous chapters, just don't matter. No progress whatsoever. Yeah, I get it. She's shy blah blah blah but can we get ANY progress at all. They act like they just met.

@dotawolfbrother You're freakin every where mate. Although it's been on hiatus for two years, I hope Maida comes back soon. :(

Shades of Dragonball Z, with entire episodes of them yelling at each other to raise tension. Or Giligan's Island, where you could watch the episodes in any order you like... because they always reset and NOTHING EVER CHANGES.

I know they're showing them as being pure and sweet and innocent and whatever, thus "ZOMG I can't believe my arm bumped into her arm ZOMG ZOMG ZOMG!11!!" *freaks out externally*.

But an entire chapter of nothing but them acting like complete spazmoids who have just met? I'd rather rewatch an episode of Endless Eight. Or maybe a nice soothing apology from Ritsu (the monkey) from Fruits Basket.

I mean, this manga does end... In like 19 chapters or something... Really wondering how this finishes

@givemersspls - Yes, once was enough.

@threeflappp - The girl isn't just "shy". There's something going on in her life that made her afraid of getting too close to Ootaki, so when he made it clear that he was serious about her, she pulled back and tried to break things off. Yet it seems that she can't quite get over him either, and thus keeps sending mixed signals (the head says "no", the heart says "yes") that have Ootaki completely confused .
At least that's my impression.
I just hope that this part will be explained before the end.
