That line Kamu said about her not having any dreams is so meta on so many levels, she's aware she already lost.
 
This pair somehow manages to get better and better each time they get a chapter.
 
Urgh, i definitely can't stand the Eiko/Sensei pairing at all. Something is definitively wrong with this one, don't know why we're stuck with that one. It feel so forced to me, it's very clear to me that Sensei don't have any romantic feelings but yet the author keep to push forcefully those two together. It made me don't really like any chapter the pair is present.

I don't know what manga you're reading but I think you're wrong there. The teacher likes Eiko but she's still a teacher, although I suspect Eiko is older than people think hence being a touch more daring and mature.
 
@Cyreader I read Shojo/Yuri so i'm quite familiar with some Student/Teacher pairings but i had troubles with this one. Sensei is just problably playing alog because of how forceful Eiko is. Normally i'm not against some yuri pairing but here it feel too much onesided to being enjoyable, i mean Sensei rejected her all the time, if she accept in the end (which by where we going is going to happen, must to my demise tbh) then that will be a hell of a swing and Sensei is the biggest tsundere ever. Or you can go with the fact i prefer Kamui/Eiko pairing.

tl;dr : To forceful to be enjoyable for me (You can say i'm a kill-joy).

Are we going to ignore the fact that Eiko entered someone else's dream at the end of this chapter? Her yuri powers have literally become supernatural.
 
@notyurinotinterested Yeah, I didn't get it at first, but now I see that was the best part. That's probably the reason she can't remember her dreams, they weren't in her body.
 
I'm already like a kill-joy so i will continue a bit but didn't the manga was suposs to be about a Ronin cause it seem we had a bit forget that. I know it's a SoL so it kind of silly but the whole point at start was that Hana is a ronin but nobody know at school but it seem that it doesn't matter at all. Hana could have been the same year as everyone that i don't see the difference. What the point of making her a ronin if it's not even use that much plus i suspect heavily that most of Hana's friends will not care at all, making the whole thig pointless.

Don't get me wrong, i like this manga but this and that make me scratch my head.
 
It's still about that, but you have to know your audience. I'm reading this shit for the yuri.
 
@Lilliwyt I don't really care about your opinion on the pairings, but it's implied the title "Slow Start" applies to all the main cast:
Hana being a year late.
Kamu slowly becoming a functional person that isn't dependent on Eiko.
Eiko slowly starting her relationship with Sensei.

The only one I haven't deciphered is Tama, it's probably something to do with yuri too, Hana is the odd one out.
 
Was barely yuri to begin with. It's just your typical Cute girl doing Cute things, it's always a bit subtext to begin with most of the time. I mean, Eiko was quickly make into a lady-killer. I will repeat myself like a broken record cause it will be annoying for everyone but you pretty much guess what i want to say, ship to forceful to be healthy.

@KZO Oh well i didn't quite deep myself too much into that so i think what you say make sense and for Tama well, isn't she is just a slow brain ? If i can argue on your point, i barely see Kamu being not Eiko dependent (hell if anything this chapter with her dream prove me the opposite because she dream of Eiko) and for Eiko, well you already know what is my position on that.

PS : Really don't make me go on again on that because i start to feel like an old angry man grumbling because i maybe the only one hating this pairing.

I don't think anyone cares if you don't like the ship, dude. Some of your assessments just seem questionable. The subtext you're referring to was yuri subtext, so in that sense the series has always been like that. There's just more of a pairing that you aren't a fan of. Which is fine. I know the feeling all too well. Lol.

If your problem is with the yuri in general, though, you kind of have yourself to blame given the nature of the series.

Doesn't mean every chapter needs to be about Hana's ronin condition. We had a small callback to that in the chapter right before this one.

I don't like the pairings of Eiko with her teacher either, but the psychology of a character is no more or less than whatever the author makes it.
 
@SJ7 Don't make me said what i didn't said, i love Yuri/Shoujo in general and i mostly never be looking away for some subtext, this case is just a first to me. Maybe it's just me putting too much though into it, i had a problem to be too much focus on things like this sometimes and talking about it over and over.
