Kamu actually says Eiko-chan there. We'll see in the Vol 7 release if that was a mistake, but for now I'll leave it. The way it is, it might just convey more force than the way she usually calls her.
If the author says it'll be alright, it'll be alright Hana.
Sometimes it's easy to forget Kamu is the same age as Eiko because she treats her like her daughter, but all that maturity and her strong reaction to Eiko in underwear really shows her age.
Not really. In chapter 84, Kiyose came on strong, but Eiko was made very uncomfortable, and turned to Kamuri for comfort. Chapter 85 was the business with maid costumes. Chapter 86 has Kamuri seeking greater closeness with Eiko and expressing an affection that Kamuri is not (yet) prepared to reveal. And the most recently uploaded chapter was an old one from volume 4.
I'm not writing of a sudden change, but of a process that will take time, with Eiko still infatuated with Kiyose for a while, and still not consciously seeing Kamuri as more than a precious child.
That doesn't, of course, prove that I'm correct; but I think that people who want to see Eiko and Kamuri become romantically involved have excellent reason to be hopeful.
