Huh, having lived so close to NYC my whole life I never even considered that Times Square would be an unbelievable place. It's always been a short train/car ride away for me, perfectly reasonable on any given day off. Nice to have a new perspective!

@maxRNG I had a funny experience living in NY state. As a kid I would always go to Ellis Island for school field trips, but when I went with my family on vacation to Florida once we met a couple on the plane going from Florida to NYC. Our special vacation to Disney to them was no big deal ("Disney, we go there all the time") but their special vacation was to Ellis Island! I guess it's all about perspective lol

@amaterasunaps Yep, I went to Ellis Island for a school trip too. Guess it's a rite of passage around here, huh? Not sure why anyone would want to go there, but as you said, it' all about perspective.

I've been living in NY all my life. I didnt really think of times square that much. I mostly like going out of state

To me, my "times square" would be the sea, i'm always surprised when i see or read about people's first visit to a beach.
