Snow White with the Red Hair

Ah, this one's still my favorite fantasy shôjo manga. Even though I generally like epicness and adventure born from a plot full of conflict, Akagami no Shirayuki-hime focuses on peace-time and does it so beautifully and gently that it feels magical despite the lack of mages. : )

I wouldn't recommend this story to people who want high tension at every turn or dramatic love scenes. I would, however, recommend it to those who want something more subtle, refreshing and slow. Akagami feels almost believable instead of fantastic, a story of how an assortment of people support each other through the hardships brought on by their roles and decisions. I'll be buying this once it finally becomes available in English in Europe.

@Amizer

AFAIK, if you saw both seasons, then it should be around ch.27-30 (+ one side story around ch.40), but I think, it's better to read from the beginning - it's not very time-consuming and you can just skip the moments you've already seen in the anime and look at some good panels. Anime sticks very closely to the original, but some moments are messed up chronologically (for example, flashback about Zen's past) and some are portrayed a little bit differently.

Any news on newer chapters?? I tried to find any raws, but couldnt find any.

@Wilhelm_Stenvall
Crimson Flower requested all of their chapters aside from join chapters be removed.

I suggest you visit their website or Discord if they have one if you have any questions as to why they did so.

The unique fact of the girl scanlation groups that I got is their updates was not done openly and more on their own social media.

Anyway, this is still good even though the pace doesn't click me completely. I feel this is very good in the early arcs, there is a bit of adventure, and it decreases somewhat when Shirayuki enters the palace. Or is it the opposite? Lol.
But both make good couples - not too moody and more sweet. Daily life in the palace is also comfortable to follow. But if there is a clear line of conflict it might be better. It is suitable for those who do not want to involve heavy tragedies

@Fuko lol totally sounds like summary of Akatsuki no Yona

One of my all time fav stories, anime is awesome and love Zen!!

Wish Mitsuhide would’ve had something happen with Kiki but hey, if they happy

@SilverWolf99 you can find it on manga here (one word)

on Akatsuki no Yona chat @DimensionWanderer gave an explanation:

To those that don't know, a ton of translation teams took their chapters off mangadex, Impatient Scans in one of them. This means Akatsuki no Yona, or any other manga translated by Impatient, will no longer be posted here in English.

This is the post:

By the way, you might want to consider changing the description. This manga's anime adaptation isn't two seasons, it's one season with two cours.

I loved this series so much till they
crowned the brother and split the two of them up.
Now I feel like what the fuck why should I bother.

I've reread the whole thing and I want more. I'm ready for the drama.

ok, ik imma sound crazy n ridiculous here but am i the only one who ships shirayuki n obi? like ik they wont get together since the manga n anime made it pretty damn clear that shirayuki n zen are canon but i cant help myself man😅 please tell me im not the only one tho....
(dont get me wrong tho, im not one to like love triangles but i just feel like the relationship between zen n shirayuki happened too quickly. although they do have good development as the story progress i still feel like obi would be better. n please trust me when i say that i really want to be on team zen since i hate being on the losing end >_<)
