@REMasher The one sidedness will probably disappear when they start getting wary of his power… I can only assume they’ll start trying to capture/control/defeat him with Nation-Level Hunters soon.

And of course, there’s horrible stuff coming out of the gates, which should help as well. The stakes will move from “Stay undefeated” to “Keep everyone alive!”

Amazing fight. Beru's inner monologue doesn't match a creature who has just been born though. I suspect he is using the minds and personalities he has absorbed but his thoughts don't convey that very well.

Never actually noticed when I read the WN that they are supposed to kind of parallel one another. I feel like they changed the order of events since the start of the ant invasion. Also either read right past it or the poison is new.

Great chapter as always. The art and framing really elevates the kind of mediocre writing of the WN. The is probably the best the writing is and then it goes down hill from here but I honestly think the framing kind of cleans things up and will make the later parts better. Like how I said above things I missed before now have much more presence and make more sense.
