The MC doesn't really need a super salary anymore, considering he's regularly collecting stuff worth vast sums of money. He could simply sell some extra ones to other hunters or guilds for nice sums. That being said, the thing he needs the least is someone checking on his business.
 
So many names that I have no recollection of... Guess it's time to reread the story.
 
@Serkket After chapter 140 you will only find MTL or corrected MTL chapters. Well you can find chapters with okay translations after this point but it's gonna be difficult ^^

Edit : About boxnovel, you will quickly find that the chapters are ripped from a team. They stopped translating the light novel because of DMCA
 
I like cunning characters like Mr. Glasses, it's too bad it looks like he's being set up as a villain of some kind.

THE MAN MADE C RANK! Now he can live with his daughter! Here I was expecting him to struggle with living while losing everything due to desperately gambling in re-evaluations. Good on him. Sadly, nothing else noteworthy in this ch.

Yeah, nice to see what he got. I think it didnt get mentioned in the novel, and if so, I overread it.

Btw webnovel is on chapter 130 now, so a few more days and we can read new translations of the novel.

No, this is the government, and like he said, normally they dont get as famous as top guild hunters. So the path he means is political of nature, for one part of it.

Hey, y'all remember how when the MC questioned the snow elf, the dude literally glitched out and repeated itself word for word? Remember the speculations going around that it was forcibly re-written like a computer program?

Yeah, I'll bet money that the same entity that force-fed the MC through the giant statue trial and re-wrote the snow elf is responsible for backing and managing the Hunter Association. Either that, or the Hunter's Association knows about this entity and is waging a shadow war against it.
 
God this author can't you choose a better name for the guilds, why "Hunters Guild", seriously?

I was so confused I had to make it clear which "hunter" refers to the guild name, a hunter (person) or the hunter association, it's a pain in the ass to read lmao

Also no plot progression for 2 chapters, looks like the artist is also "buying time". (´。＿。｀)
 
i'm leaning toward this group tbh. They seem more selfless in comparison to the guilds that just amass power. Also, they haven't done anything shady in the story yet. Plus, he needs someone to protect his mom. His mom getting taken hostage is something that can happen easily now that his identity is known.
