@daeofthepast This is probably 3 months too late, but the glitchy text seems to signify that there's an omnipotent god-like figure, that transcends dimensions, that is playing the part of the puppet master. Using some form of magic or technology, they're orchestrating "a grand design we can't possibly comprehend."

Nine times out of 10, it's just "Destroy all humans for my amusement."
