Best boi getting ready to make his entrance. Not sure how I like this compared to the WN. The WN made this seem way more grim as well as claustrophobic. Until they get the queen the story was basically told in the point of view of the camera man. He was much more front and center as well as described as very pushy. Basically a stand in for the audience in anticipation of the main event. They author made the camera and the people watching the broadcast a big part of this till after the queen fight. (It could be changing to that next chapter but I'm getting the feeling that its not happening like that here

the best shadow, basically the ant queen's ultimate weapon that she sacrificed half her life to make. He's a jack of all trades, master of... uh... all trades besides common sense.

He's also, like, one of the only ones on the planet who could give the MC a good fight from now until the final few big baddies show up to wreck shit. And he does grow alongside the MC, so even later on in the novel, he still can (more or less) hold his own in a 1v1 against the MC.
