WN readers have pointed out important changes from the WN 1. Igris fight was longer 2. Beru didn't lose his cool because of the Queen's Order/Instinct (because that would undermine Jin Woo or Shadow Soverign/Monarch's authority over him) but because of his inner instinct for survival (It was Light based Attack) as a servant of the Shadow Monarch

having said that, I am fine wih either - manga has shown the shadow soldiers retain some aspects for their original instinct under the absolute sub-subservience of Shadow Monarch's power
