@EnaLikesThis If I had to take a wild guess then it's just because a lot of people are impatient. That and they expect this website to always be available 100% all the time. Probably also some just irritated by the fact that a website which hosts hundreds upon hundreds of manga suddenly gets bopped when just one of those mangos gets updated. Some reasonable justification for being irked but not to the extent of what I'd imagine most are.

@MenacingBFF I doubt either of them can just make it happen like that, portals, when they open seem to go trough stages. You've seen those rips on the mid air in some chapters? That's has to be a portal that is about to open but isn't ready yet... so it takes time for them to open and even then I doubt they can just use the same portal to take over the whole earth lol.. it must run out of juice eventually but who knows.
Rulers are the ones that are behind the monster attacks, they are the ones that invade those monsters mind with "kill all humans" message, right? I guess they want to level the playing field for the upcoming war. Or maybe there is some reason why killing humans is beneficial to them...
