@ZayB i think it's cuz all three of the east asian countries hate each other to a huge extent so they each want their own style/term for comic books. china hates japan and korea, japan hates china and korea, korea hates japan and china, but japan and korea hate each other a BIT less than they hate china. nk is east asian but they dont make any manhwa or manhua or manga or etc so eh
