I think that it's more likely she starts crossdressing out of curiosity, and then we end up with double-crossdressing (cross-crossdressing?)

"Are you here for the bride or groom?"
"I.... I don't know...."
"Excuse me?"

And then the audience and their bewildered expressions as they realize they don't recognize the bride nor the groom, and are all told by one of them and told they are sitting on the wrong side.

Naturally, as a closet cross-dresser, you cannot tell those you invited to the wedding that you will be cross-dressing. So much more fun that way
 
I really hope that at school there is a girl that nanami has to compete with for attention. Would be hilarious and cute (normally I prefer it the other way around but the only person that nanami might like aside from kaoru is some really old long lost childhood friend and thats just bs)
