A naturally formed little Budha inside the jade.... OK.
The jade betting is a trope in EVERY Chinese real world cultivation story. And it always plays out the same way. I guess it's an important event that they have to do every time.
He just opened his clinic, AND! HE! CLOSED! IT! ON! THE! SECOND! DAY! There is no sense of time management or scheduling. He can literally do everything and it just waits for him as if time
won’t affect him. I get it’s fictional but come on! This would literally ruin a company. Bad Reviews would come in tsunami’s because of the recent publicity. Since it’s a manhua it’s probably ignored as if everyone was a saint and could wait or even no one has any injuries or illness’s that day until his shop opens. This can seriously affect him!
Someone could die because he wasn’t there that day and the closest place was his clinic. Now the news gives negative publicity because of social media, be it the upset parent, malicious passerby’s, or just a tweet. It can blow up into a big deal. People would also join along and write a negative review further damaging his image. Now it probably won’t get this bad but he would still get negative reviews which he can recover if he works diligently. Like I said it looks really bad and if he does it again especially for some reason like a girl told me to follow her, you can bet that even less people will visit his clinic. Imagine your clinic gets the spotlight, it would be put into a lot of scrutiny. What if in that second day of opening you bail? You can bet that clinic won’t get higher than 3 stars in 2 years
