Sonokoi, Jihanki de Kaemasuka?

May i ask why it's tagged as josei? I thought it's for ladies? Like stories following old ladies and not high schoolers

@EleazarLee06 Not sure I got your question right, but summary:

- yaoi (this manga is one) is male x male romance targeting female demographic (so info on this manga is correct, it's targeting female reader and is about gay romance)
- bara is male x male romance targeting male demographic
- hentai is heterosexual romance targeting male demographic, but no one cares anymore
- yuri is female x female romance targeting male demographic

It's possible for some fans to overlap, so a man can read yaoi and a woman can read yuri.

I don't think 'stories about ladies' are a genre as such, this is more of a setting thing (though, milf hentai is a thing - will defo include non-highschool characters).

god they're cute 😭 Koiwai is a whole ass mood, the gay anxiety's so real

in response to the comments: yeah josei is a demographic, not genre. so while the target reader may be 18+ yr old women, that doesn't necessarily mean the main character will be an 18+ yr old woman. definitely seen a lot of manga starring high schoolers categorized as josei/seinen, to my disappointment. would much rather read about grown ass people lol

@Karpik I don't quite agree on yuri only targeting male demographic. While some yuri is, there are also yuri works published in josei magazines (for instance Ebine Yamaji's yuri works), or works published in magazines that don't have a gender target, not to mention works published in lesbian magazines like Carmilla.

@Karpik Bara is a subcategory of geikomi not the whole genre. It is also controversial term (within japanese)

Honestly love it so much. The interactions are really cute but also believable from a real world POV.
