At least this manga can no longer betray my expectations. The irritating halfhearted attempt at a humanizing background after so thoroughly establishing this asshole as the trash he is is just that, irritating. The whole "I still care about you" schtick from his brother is equally annoying and hollow to boot.

This manga is doing the same thing as Shokugeki, the same thing so many shounen before it has done. I really hope it ends soon.

Yeah, the real problem with this guy isn't even that he kidnapped Nike and caused a huge mess, it's that he's been such a rapey creep towards her, and this probably won't even be addressed again... And the author likes him, why am I not surprised?
Sigh, I'm probably dropping this series for real this time, it just isn't engaging to me anymore and this arc was the cherry on top.
