Deido was a closeted hentai artist the whole time. Anyway, Deido is clearly doing it all wrong. How can he make art if everything inside Souboutei falls within his established boundaries? There's no challenge there. You have to meet the outside world in a conversation. Also, his "the world is fucked if I die, but I haven't told anybody" plan reminds be of Dr. Strangelove.

I'm pretty sure the reason Deido has a link to the past is he's just going back to tell the art snobs to suck it. And the moment he does, the paintings flood the world of the future while he basks in the praise of a bunch of no talent hacks. It's gonna be sweet.
