The discrimination against her people is mostly in the western part of the continent; in the protag's kingdom and for the most part the empire it's not that bad from what I remember.

Adorable. I really hope that there is some sort of progression in their relationship. Watching the MC take over the world by mistake seems like it is inevitable, so there isn't really any tension. Their relationship though is something that we can't be sure if it will ever change so progress on that front would be hype and exciting.
