I personally doubt it's Schreik, I believe that he is is still traveling with Gladuis.

Also if it is him, why bother making Schreik's silhouette shaded out for then? Since we already have seen his appearance in the story before.

Nah, imo the sniper who helped Lacile out strikes me as a new character tbh.
