Soukyuu no Ariadne - Vol. 5 Ch. 40 - Returning to the Past

I liked Yagi Norihiro-sensei's claymore and deeply loved his first work Angel Densetsu, but this, it pains me to say, is just a shallow husk of his far superior previous works. Where did the comic genius and wonderful world build he show cased go? I wonder. Add this to Berserk's mahou shoujo-fication and the ache only grows stronger.
 
I actually like the current pace, it's more shonen than Claymore but it's still a good one.
 
It is nice but so far but more "shounen-ish" when it comes to battles. Claymore was more raw and brutal.
 
@RC1138Boss I noticed that photon attacks don't really cause wounds (even when "piercing" somebody) despite being able to break stone, I wonder if they'll be an explanation later or if it's due to the author wanting to tone down the battles.
