this is my own speculation i think the author is finally going full the great ruler here and and is combining his novels universes. My guess is that this two mysterious people and long chen and cai er from his other novel that transmigrated to dou lou dalu universe and lost their memories in the process of their powers converting into the energy used by this universe

somebody maybe didn't read dd3 novel or something, Gu Yue(Nana) is a daring girl that like to bond with those people that she like, for example Leng Yaozhu (her female teacher) and Wulin, then, she isn't a criminal, soul beasts all simplicity on expression, even when is the time Gu Yue had to lead a duty (don't say too much here) but she still like this as well
