Sousei no Taiga - Vol. 7 Ch. 61 - God and King

Grug see cavepainting of stonefront, grug need preserve future of grug children by killing homosapien

seriously? racism is you plot? i hope it will develop to something more than this bs... hope the antagonist has better reason than some childhood traumas to..

Seriously? You have the entire span of prerecorded human history to explore, including as already shown mammoth battles, and you decide the whole standby of white/colored dynamic is the way to go. Even if it this other leader is another time-traveler, it just feels like such an unoriginal route to take.

Much as I want to roll my eyes over this prehistoric race war, there's zero doubt that it happened when modern humans came into contact with Neanderthals. It's not hard to imagine at all. Plus, a modern person is clearly at the head of the Neanderthals, and one with military experience. Dehumanizing the enemy is the oldest war tactic there is, and when the enemy is a different color, well, it's pretty easy to do.

@jerstervae Yeah, I guess you have a point. Its not that this person hates "colored people" its just used as a medium to make the Neanderthals kill the home-sapiens. Why does this futuristic man want to kill all homo-sapiens? Who knows, maybe he don't like the human race and wants the Neanderthals to be the ones who survive, since they got dominated by the genes of home-sapiens and is so to say extinct in that regard.

Well looks like the Nazi's are back... for the first time... this is confusing lets just say the Nazi's are here and get on with the complaining about the Nazi's

Don't see what's so wrong about this, time fuckery was already a thing with these lads being here, so why's one more guy that bad?

@readingperson
Was just about to post a similar comment hahaha. King is too based for an anime adaptation.
Here's hoping the antagonist's motivation isn't just as simple as "im a racist who time travelled to the past". Hopefully, he just used the "white good, colored bad" approach to get the neanderthals to follow him religiously.

@Leonkristoffer Maybe it's not even that. It could be something even more childish as in the antagonist just wants to be a "king" and since he spawned in their territory, they just happened to become the ones brainwashed. Don't forget we're looking at an era where people didn't have explanations for most things happening, so as long as he gives "reasonable" explanations, people will call him a messiah or king in this case
