Soushi Souai - Vol. 4 Ch. 31 - Trivial Matter

This chapter had me struggle to not laugh out loud on the train ?
Anyway, I feel you Kawasaki, I also had an eraser, where I got peeved when people used it "wrong".

I used to have these great erasers . . . they were like a long narrow cylinder of eraser in a vaguely mechanical-pencil-like sheath, so you'd just keep clicking it forward as it got used up, and it was easy to target so you didn't end up erasing the wrong stuff.
Now everything's on computers, so who needs an eraser?

The best friendships are the ones that let you argue endlessly over stupid stuff.

@ElBichoRaro No doubt. But there are things you have aptitude for and things you don't. There are a lot of things to learn or try to be good at--too many to do all of them. I prefer to put my energy into the stuff where, if I do work at it, I can be really good. When it comes to creativity, I mostly concentrate on words--prose, I have an affinity for. Whereas with art, if I practiced a whooole lot, I might aspire to mediocrity.

@Purplelibraryguy: You have a point. I guess it also depends on the person's passion. I never had much aptitude for drawing, but I got somewhat better out of sheer practice (and stubbornness). What I posted before is what I tell my students, since they keep wanting to give up on learning English.
