Sousou no Frieren - Vol. 2 Ch. 8 - One-Hundredth

And yet these characters have much more humanity and worth than SotiCoto. Fascinating.

Is immortality really as great as people say? Living forever sounds nice, but that's all it is. Nobody's ever lived forever, so nobody can actually describe it. I, after reading this, have changed my mind on immortality. That's a delta for this manga. Deltas are good btw

map looks sorta like a scuffed upside down Britain
not far off from most manga's fantasy maps where they're just a scuffed version of the globe, just japan, or something along those lines
the one's that are blatantly just japan are the most uncreative imo

@wolfclaw3812
i prefer invincibility (or the ability to heal and to the ability to do so really fast) over immortality since you still die from age but less likely to die from physical causes
so you can live and die with loved ones yet have less worries

This manga is unfathomably depressing.

It's as if it's the perfect analogy for how one should reflect on the fleeting relationships they have with people, and how much of an impact that "one-hundredth" has on a person.

Maybe it's just me, but, I can't begin to describe how sad this manga makes me.

@Empiur Almost all (Main Stream) fantasy maps are like that. If I would like to try an original fantasy continent of my own, I would've made a more original fantasy map by just throwing pieces of rice on a paper sheet and traced it. Or just spill coffee and voila a new continent. Well, I still gotta give them the thumbs up for trying.

one of the greatest mysteries mankind has yet to find the answer to is why the fuck this soticoto guy bitches about a manga, only to appear in the next chapter's comment section to bitch about it again. if it's so bad then drop it, all it takes is two clicks.
also if I remember correctly he also has an obsessive fetish of girls in glasses. even if worst girl has glasses, she automatically becomes best girl. truly baffling.

Fern is packing now I see
But what does she mean by 1/2 of her life? Like the total time she'll travel with Frieren?
Well considering her age to be around 17-18 now, plus another 10 years of travelling to the Demon Castle, does that mean her expected lifespan would be 60?
