That is quite the cliffhanger.

What's worse is that we've been switching from and to Frieren so I'm not even sure we'll see what happened with Fern in the next chapter. Maybe we'll see Stark fight.

It's interesting to see Fern explain how arrogant the demon is and to see it show exactly that as it calls call Frieren by name but continues calling her a little girl and Stark a boy.
