Sousou no Frieren - Vol. 3 Ch. 20 - Master's Technique

@mihona

I'm French and I didn't know this word 😐
But yes, apparently a "bluterie" is a location where the flour is "bluter" (sifted with a bag).
The only violence that I can think of is that it comes from a German word...

It's quite easy to forget that Stark is cleaving mountains and one-shotting dragons until he pulls off shit like this.

@randomname I think it's their lack of feeling fear in general which made them think that way. If you think it about it, they should have ran away after Fern was able to do critical hit to Lugner but they didn't. Heck, they should have ran away after they saw Frieren in town. You should also be able to feel fear if your enemy is able to withstand everything you throw but this guys didn't. Also include the fact that they are pretty ignorant and prideful of their abilities which causes them to leave their surviving opponent alive just to spite them more.

Lugner may have felt fear after his previous enocunter Frieren but it's only to her. I think it's more of hate of her rather than fear now that I think about it. It's a kinda sad that he didn't get scared of Fern after taking that critical hit, he could have survived longer if he did.

For the people asking about Stark stopping the axe - don't you remember Sanosuke (Kenshin) withstanding blows against his rib cage by focusing there? I assume Stark contracts his muscles so much that they become iron-like - but only if he's focusing on that exact point.

Stark most likely concentrated mana there to tank the hit, kinda like what Feiren does to prevent the wire demon guy from decapitating her.

Whoa.
These stupid demons. They didn't have the leeway to think about meaningless things or look somewhere else, yet they did... One second was all it took.

The hell, the battle scenes are great.

I feel like i need to read more things from the same author. It's god damn impecable.

I hope this doesn't become a battle sienen. I miss the feeling of the first few chapters.

You gotta read this chapter while listening to "I'm Still Standing" by Elton John.

I know you all waiting for the few-earlier-chapters-kinda chapter, but IMO how can you depict a battle without the battle? I do wish that this manga doesn't become a battle-themed one too, but the battle are done in a good and quick way, so i think its ok?
