Sousou no Frieren - Vol. 3 Ch. 24 - Elven Wish

Man imagine living with human who live probably 80 years at max. You done many things and you became a legend but human, who probably more dominant in this world, only record your story by mouth or written text which both of them are unreliable at best.

I'm feel for Kraft in that sense. No matter what u do, your legacy probably going to be forgotten as the new era is coming.

P.S. Wish your mother all the best, translator.

@kinosseur
Humans live in the fast lane, because our time is limited. We wish to make our mark on the world. That doesn't change whichever the era or the region. =/ What feels like years to us humans is probably like seconds to elves. Which is why we're impatient and live in the moment, instead of other races who are longer-lived and can take their time.

This is heavy..

So Kraft is far more older than Frieren, is he fighting demon too?

Frieren: I don’t believe in the Goddess. I’ve never seen her.
Monk elf: Well, she’s a shy person but once you know her she’s a smart girl (AKA when you’re so old to become a believer because you know and talked to your God in person)

the pain in centuries later if kraft had died :( i mean since he lived longer than frieren so who knows when he'd die

FINALLY, back to what I came here for. This is the shit that's good about this manga. No more 10 chapters of battle plz

This chapter is deep as heck.

1. Persistence of Memory in Full swing. That bit about how every heroic deed Kraft did is long forgotten sending a shiver to my spine.
2. Everything in the Universe is relative. Kraft views Frieren as a kid.
3. Memento Mori, Kraft instinctively fear his end and become more devout to god.

Damn this sht hits hard......... To humans Frieren was a member of heroes party and is considered a hero after saving the world and is now passed down as a legend........but to her fellow elves it was LITERALLY just fckn TUESDAY

dang, we are back to weekly feels trip. Stark dialogue also support the idea that Kraft is a master monk or something. (you know, like great warrior can tell the other is veteran warrior just by looking from stature demeanor or smth)
