Frieren gets cooped up all winter in a cabin with the Monk Hunk and absolutely nothing happens. Why oh why is the elven race going extinct, it truly is a mystery.

thought we'd spend more time on this guy so I'm surprised they went their separate ways already. although it's obvious he's going to show up again so I suppose there'll be more development later.

e: "more time" as in more chapters since they do spend half a year together in-story

e2: actually now that I think about it it's entirely possible that we never see him again because this won't necessarily follow the standard tropes
