Huh. Unless dwarves age real rapidly in the last years of their life, I guess Eisen’s bound to live long enough to meet with Stark again after their journey is over.

And heck. I really felt that when he started talking about not even being able to remember the face or voice of his wife anymore. Other stories have done that bit, but with how SnF’s story has been told, it hits especially hard. Started tearing up.

Grandfather Voll is unnaturally old for a dwarf. 80 years had passed from when he met the hero party and that's nearly a third of the normal dwarven lifespan. Eisen might not be as "safe" as some think.
