If possible I would like a little more explanation on the difference between magic scrolls and magic wands, and Caldwell's Spellcaster. I binge read the series and the conversation Caldwell had with his fellow alchemy students several chapters ago didn't fully explain things for me.

I believe the last page was implying the Falconus was a judge for Caldwell's entrance exam. Falconus and the other two failed Caldwell, but the Headmaster passed Cald anyway.
