Spirit Circle - Vol. 2 Ch. 14 - Past Shock

I guess it would be very beneficial if you had the experience of your past lives as long as it doesn't interfere with your own ego

Alright now this is bordering on tragedy porn. How many more of her stories are gonna end with "and then everyone died"?

Well just when I thought it was already a depressing life it gets even more depressing. Well the silver lining is that his master who he looked up to as a father more than his real father became his actual father in his current life so he got to see him again. Also the identity crisis is definetly concerning. It would be terrifying if you started to loose track of who you even were from 7 different personalities. I wonder if he gets any of their talents from the past lives after seeing them like how he made the sphinx. Or could he only make it because his past personality got mixed with his current one for a while.

I really can't empathize or get into any of the characters here. What's the point of the ghosts being here? Why does the girl care so much about the past and ending the "conflict"? Why does our MC care about what happened to the girl in the past lives?

I'd just see them as visual novels that I'm actually in, I couldn't care if the girl went through hell at the same time, I'd just enjoy the ride.

@Kuroww You are probably either a psychopath with little to no empathy or just don't involve yourself in a fiction deeply. I personally felt that this is already one of the best mangas I've ever read in how emotional it is.

Man, loss of identity aside, it would be wonderful to know firsthand about a great civilisation of the past. Imagine the gaps he could fill about the story of the Sphinx and the Great Library - not to mention how cool it would be to fluently speak and write Ancient Greek. Not that he could simply go public about any of this, but still, it oughta help if he worked as a historian.

thats the thing, when he wakes up he gets some tidy bit of info stuck in his head, but he forgets a lot of his time spent there, like all dreams.

but if he did remember everything and shared it he'd be lauded as a lier/madman, i'm not sure how accepting this culture is at his era (probably very accepting, family treats the ghost sight like nothing) i guess a historian might do, but he better be good at finding and citing sources from the past to ever be relevant and not be laughed at.

Did this bitch really just say "an inkling of my pain" !?? She lived her whole fucking life happy and loved by her people, only to have a swift death. Flors on the other hand suffered through his whole life until he almost died alone of old age. No matter how cute she tries to act she's pretty fucking hateable.
