yes, Hawa is the true protagonist
@hokujin translators had no idea up till recently either. it seems the author decided to go with girl but originally the translators used male pronouns in their debut appearance. but I honestly have no idea, scour the Asura website comment section if your interested
edit: seems I've gotten ahead of myself. I haven't checked back on those chapters to see if they really did have different pronouns, maybe I'm hallucinating, late night binge reading does that
