Observers noted that there were a surprisingly low number of visible bans, despite some obvious joke suggestions.
Since few would come forward and admit to being temporarily silenced for their own half-baked, half-joking, half-assed posting, we can only hypothesize the extent of shadowbanning.

Whether this gesture is to be interpreted as an early Christmas present or yet another step towards overthrowing the current MangaDex hierarchy remains to be seen.
