Imagine making suggestions on MangaDex

After 2 days of a DDoS attack, a staff member that goes by the name of BD8 has made a decision to finally notify the lowest caste of MangaDex denizens: forum posters.

PSA: We're still under a sustained DDOS attack.

It is extremely rare to have this type of announcement being made on the forums, which is usually a privilege of esteemed discord users.
This makes me to believe that either someone hacked BD8's account, or they went rogue against their supreme leader Plykiya.
Either way, such carelessness warrants a disciplinary hearing and today may be the last day for BD8 as a staff member.

There is a strong case to be made for a glitch in the Matrix, as the exact same announcement was posted in two different forums.

Ironically, despite being titled as a PSA (Public Service Announcement), Subject [BD8] has yet to create a dedicated thread in the MangaDex/Announcements subforum at the time of writing,
instead resorting to boilerplate responses (Exhibit A, Exhibit B) within an unrelated thread.

If only there was some sort of Whistleblower Protection Act.

Hmm. A while ago, I noticed that the Mod Dialogue Thread got unpinned shortly after its author went on vacation.
But now I'm thinking he got sent to a farm upstate instead for daring to initiate a dialogue with the local plebeians.

A thread created expressly for the purpose of "not alive" was locked by none other than Subject [BD8], who has been quite active during this chaotic maintenance period.
Unlike the previous high-stakes deliberate suicide-by-mod spectacle, the user walked away unharmed, though things may have been different had it been posted in the Holy Grounds.
