I wonder what's so special about the cultivation levels, everyone seems to pull whole squads of 8th or 9th level of cultivation out of their asses. Going to RPG rules, it's almost as if adventurers were trash and every soldier was a level 10 combatant at minimum, with mercenaries being composed of level 18 troops, every general being an epic character, and with whole packs of at least level 25 wolves as monsters, this is insane and completely out of this world.
Even Isekai knows to respect power ranks, with most adventures being rank c at most, level B adventurers being rare talented individuals, A being a very small band of geniuses, and usually only 1 to 5 rank S beings in history.
Shouldn't the level 7 to 9 of cultivation be composed only of wise, talented and very experienced individuals? How come every noble family has armies of these and you can even hire mercenaries with this level of cultivation? Like, what are even gods, spirits, dragons and other extraordinary beings when so many humans can get to immortal sage levels of cultivation?
